The Secret World of John Wesley

We are turning back time at John Wesley’s House as part of the Open Gardens Squares Weekend!

Wander around the green haven of gardens around the house and chapel.

Come and chat with John Wesley about his life, help Betsy the Housekeeper with her chores, taste some of the wonderful 18th century treats being made in our kitchen by the Cook and have a go at making herbal pomanders from our Physic Garden and tissue paper flowers!

The Chapel, Museum and gardens are accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. However Wesley's House is not as it is a 300 year old Georgian terrace house with lots of stairs. Please visit www.wesleysheritage.org.uk for a virtual tour. There will be space to leave buggies and wheelchairs at the entrance of the house or inside the chapel.
